Aircrew Flight Equipment
INSPECTS, MAINTAINS, PACKS AND ADJUSTS AIRCREW FLIGHT EQUIPMENT SUCH AS FLIGHT HELMETS, OXYGEN MASKS, PARACHUTES, FLOTATION DEVICES, SURVIVAL KITS install and remove equipment from the aircraft loadmaster must inventory this equipment to ensure it matches mission documents and coordinate fixes if any discrepancies are found
Maintenance
PERFORMS ALL ACTIVITIES FOR REPAIR OF AIRCRAFT AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING SCHEDULED INSPECTIONS AND PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE maintain aircraft forms (AF Form 781 series) aircraft systems experts sub sections: propulsion (engines), aero repair (skin/frame), hydraulics, electronics, avionics includes Flying Crew Chiefs (FCC) who fly w/ the airplane and perform normal maintenance while en route loadmasters work closely w/ FCC and maintenance personnel to make sure discrepancies are repaired to keep the aircraft mission capable
