Select text on any page, or drop in a PDF. You get flashcards in a few seconds — and every card shows the sentence it came from, so you can check it instead of trusting it.

Why the source sentence is the whole point
AI writes wrong flashcards confidently. A 2025 BMC Medical Education study found 31% of AI-generated assessment content was not suitable for inclusion, and models use more confident language when they are wrong than when they are right — so the bad cards do not look like bad cards.
Every buyer's guide in this category ends with the same advice: check the cards against your source before you study them. Nobody automates that check. The standard answer is “our AI is accurate”, which you cannot verify from where you are sitting.
What we actually claim
- The quote under each card really is in your source, word for word — checked on our server against your own text.
- Not that the answer is the right reading of that quote. We do not claim that, because we cannot check it.
Cards where no quote could be matched are shown dashed and greyed and labelled “check this one yourself” — not quietly mixed in with the rest.

Questions
Is it free?
Yes, and there is no meter. No account, no sign-up, no monthly cap on how many sets you make and no limit on cards per set. Quizlet puts its notes-to-flashcards feature (Magic Notes) behind Quizlet Plus at $7.99/month. Wisdolia — now Jungle AI — gives you 15 sets a month free and charges $5 to $12/month past that. Knowt is free to use but requires an account and meters the AI generation.
How do I know the cards are right?
Every card shows the exact sentence from your source that it came from. That quote is checked on our server against your original text, word for word — the model does not get to mark its own homework. Cards where no quote could be matched are shown dashed and greyed and labelled "check this one yourself" instead of being quietly mixed in with the rest. What this proves is that the quote really is in your source; it does not prove the answer is the right reading of that quote, and we do not claim it does.
Why does that matter?
Because AI writes wrong flashcards confidently. A 2025 BMC Medical Education study found 31% of AI-generated assessment content was not suitable for inclusion, and models use more confident language when they are wrong than when they are right. Every buyer’s guide in this category ends with the same advice — check the cards against the source before you study them. Nobody else automates that check; the standard answer is "our AI is accurate", which you have no way to verify from where you are sitting.
What can it read?
Any web page — select the text you want, or let it take the whole article. PDF, DOCX and TXT files too, including files that were never on a web page, which tab-only tools cannot do.
Do I need an account?
No. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to log into. Your cards go straight into the editor on this site and are saved in your own browser.
Does it work on things other than military training?
Yes. The answer keys on this site are military CBTs, but the flashcard maker has nothing to do with that — it works on a lecture PDF, a textbook chapter, a journal article, a Wikipedia page, your own notes, anything with text in it.
Free, and it stays free
No account, no monthly meter, no card cap. Every card shows its source.
