LRS Commander Responsibilities

4.5.1. Conducts required surveys and inspections. Performs safety inspections on the FMF once a year or when requested by FMT. 4.5.1.1. Reviews and approves the selection and use of workplace specific PPE
FMT Responsibilities
5.1.1. Comprised of a Fuels Mgmt Flight Commander and a Fuels Manager or Superintendent. At locations that do not earn a FMFC, may reference Fuels Mgmt Flight Leadership. At contracted locations, will be met by contract service provider.
Fuels Manager
5.1.1.1. Reserved for those in the rank of CMSgt and posses the Primary AF Specialty Code (PAFSC) 2F000
Fuels Superintendent
5.1.1.2 Exclusive to those in the rank of SMSgt or MSgt who posses the PAFSC 2F071, attended PLMC or posses 2F091
Fuels Management Team (FMT)
5.2.2. Immediately notifies AFPA Current Ops (within 2 hours of incident) and submits a follow up message within 24 hours of occurrence with an info copy to the MAJCOM. 5.2.3. Ensures AFPA and DLA regional quality assurance representatives (QARs) are contacted to facilitate disposition instructions.
Task Certifier Requirements
5.3.3. IAW AFI 36-2201; Completes AF Training Course, Possess a 7-skill level or higher, maintains task quals, proficiencies, and SEI for which individuals are certified, appointed by LRS/CC
ABFDS Program Requirements
5.3.3. Requests and submits Aeronautical Orders to the local HARM office for ABFDS crews once tasked to support UTC JFABF. Further guidance in AFI 11-402
FARP Program Requirements
5.3.5. Ensures program comlies with AFI 11-235, Appoints 2F071 as FARP team chief with 035 SEI. Additional duties will not be assigned to team chief. Trains and qualifies personnel to meet mission readiness. Secure storage area for personnel and equipment. Provides monthly FARP program status report to MAJCOM due the first Thursday of the month, certified by FMT
ABFDS/FARP Operators Requirements
5.3.6. Holds 5-skill level or higher as a qualified fuels specialist. Holds rank of MSgt and below. Be medically qualified according to AFI 44-170 and AFI 48-123 and documented of AF Form 702, classified with code of 9c
FARP Operator Requirements
5.3.6.5. Completes FARP initial qual course Phase I, II, and III training as well as recurring training with 11-235, posses 6 month experience (time starts when assigned to team), Perform min. of 4 FARP missions and hook ups.
Reoccuring and JIT training for ABFDS/FARP operators
5.3.7. Physiological training, initial training conducted via altitude chamber, refresher training every 5 years with ROBD or altitude chamber Weapons training Life Support Equip training Local Aircraft Ground Egress training Local Night Vision Device training SERE initial and refresher training (ECAC FOR ABFDS)
